Sarah Polzin
Sarah is a Denver native hailing from a family of artists, her artistic voyage has
been profoundly shaped by her environment and upbringing. She received her BFA and
an Art Education degree from Metropolitan State University. Since graduating she has
taught in a variety of adaptive art programs throughout Denver and Los Angeles. Currently
Sarah and her sister work with their father in the world of sign painting, specializing
in murals, gold leaf, commercial art, and installations. Her work involves crafting
pieces that surpass the traditional artistic methods used with these mediums. Instead,
she crafts multi-dimensional artworks that use tactile components to elicit humorous
and clever narratives.

Penney Bidwell
I came into the world on April Fools’ Day, 1968, and was born, but not raised, into
the traveling carnival. My carnival roots can be traced back to my great-grandmother,
the tattooed woman in the sideshow. After completing my Masters degree in Psychology,
I realized a deeper ambition resided in the arts and began to teach myself to sculpt.
The theatrical appearance in many of my creations is informed by my familial heritage.
These pieces can be found in collections worldwide.
